# 4 : Empathy. Positive and Negative Emotions.

Assalamualaikum and Hi everyone. :)

This is my fourth assignment from Mr. Khairuddin Murad. He asked us to do a short review from the three aspects (idea, concept, and rational) of the print ads like poster or billboards.

But, before that I will tell you guys a quick short explanations about EMPATHY. 

The empathy is important to us in creating the effective advertisement that can attract audiences' feelings and feels connected. The empathy comes from our own observation in society and what are the feelings shared among the human emotion.

From empathy, people will get their true emotion which is positive or negative. Both positive and negative human emotion can bring greater differences in human making their decisions. 

Thus, in doing this assignments, I choose two Public Service Announcement (poster) that brings positive and negative emotion each. Do you want to know? Check it out!

1. Positive Human Emotion

Idea          

Save the world.

Concept  

The designer use the synonym color to the environment which is green to influence people. they use the tagline ' From Zero to hero, Environmental War to save the World'.

Rational   

The idea and concept is suitable as green is the color of the nature. Then, the use of white color to bold the words make the message stand out clearly and easy to understand. Furthermore, this PSA poster have its positive human emotion to the people-being like love, happiness, and hope. They'll see hope to save the world, love their environmental world, and also happy to share its benefits together.

2.  Negative Human Emotion

Idea

An abused woman with hand showing NO.

Concept

The usage of black and white image gives big effects to the reader when seeing this public service announcement poster. Meanwhile the words are using the color of white and only highlighted certain words like 'woman' and 'abused' to emphasize it more clearly.

Rational

When people see this PSA poster, they will get understand that woman are easily to get abused. So, people will concern and care about this matters before its getting worse. Besides, people in society especially woman will become protective and careful. But, this poster brings negative human emotion to people. They will feel fear, angry, or sad after seeing this messages.

The messages in the public interest disseminated by the media without charge, with the objective of raising awareness, changing public attitudes and behavior towards a social issue.
